1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
“Find out who you are and do it on purpose” This has always been one of my favorite Dolly Parton quotes. I feel that a person will go so much further in life when they learn exactly what they stand for and what makes them feel the happiest.

2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
I have always loved the saying, “What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven’t happened yet.” What an amazing thought that is! How much happier would the world be if more of us lived by this mindset? Sometimes trials and tribulations overshadow the good things that we have to look forward to though. However, it gives me a great deal of joy when I begin to think about all the happy days that I possibly have ahead. It inspires me want to do better and be a better person for my future self and my family.

3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
I would definitely teach others the importance of sun safety and how to perform self skin exams. I am very blessed to be a 7 year Melanoma survivor and recently became a Certified Melanoma Educator. After my cancer diagnosis, I learned exactly how crucial it is to protect our skin from UV rays. My experience also taught me the importance of early detection. Early detection of skin cancer can truly save your life or the life of someone you love.

4.What is the most random fact you know?
I was always in a hurry to grow up when I was a kid. Now as an adult, I honestly feel the complete opposite. I truly believe you are as young as you feel. Although I’ve experienced so many wonderful things as an adult, I’m happiest when I’m laughing, playing with my dogs or spending time at Disney with my husband or my friends. I believe I would forever be 9 years old if I didn’t know how old I actually was.

5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
Date nights can be challenging sometimes when you live in a small town so you have to be creative! Winter date nights usually consist of watching movies and lots of takeout food; maybe a card game or two, Summertime dates are long drives and kayak trips down the Greenbrier River. My favorite date nights though are when we are able to travel. We love to explore new places and try new restaurants. We actually met some of our best friends on a cruise.
